You’ll have to learn german first, about 3 months.

Question by Beautiful_Letdown: At what age should you begin with basic command training for your puppy?
I have a 6 week old Swiss mountain puppy. Right now we are working on housebreaking and Chewing on toys and not Mommy’s heels lol. He is doing great and is really a smart puppy.
At what age should I start him on Basic commands such as sit, stay, lay, and leash training. I’ve never had a puppy this small and dont on line pharmacy know when its the right time to start teaching him things that he is ready for but I would like a smart adult dog so I want to do it right.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!

you can work on basic commands from day one. the more you work with your dog, the easier it will become. just rember to be consistant with the word(s) you use as the comand.

We got a sweet little wheaten terrier over the weekend. She’s 13 weeks. I was just wondering, how old should your puppy be before sending it to puppy kindergarten or formal training?

We’ve already started with basic commands so she knows her boundaries.
