i need training advice and actual moves to help train my new puppy

You need to get a book on training or sign up for obedience classes with your dog, no one can tell you 1, 2, 3 magic rules – it takes time and patience to train a dog well.
Sign up at Petco when they schedule group obedience lessons and go with your dog, or ask your vet for a reference to a good trainer who gives group lessons.
