Don’t follow in your friends’ footsteps. Everybody has different interests. Most likely only one of your friends has an extreme interest in becoming a pet trainer, and the others are just being sheep and following whatever he/she does so they can fit in.
Both jobs are worthy ones, but doctors are far more mandatory in today’s society. Responsible pet owners can train their animals by themselves, so there is no need to PAY someone else to train your pet for you. However, most people can’t perform brain surgery on their own, so doctors really do come in handy.
Now, if your friends wanted to be vets, their goals would be aimed more towards a worthwhile cause.
