I have a foxeranian- toy fox terrier and pomeranian mix. He’s really smart ( he knows sit, down, sit pretty, stand on your hind legs, roll over, shake, and he was papertrained in 5 days.) He can swim too. I just have no idea how to train him to come. He is 11 months old.

Purchase a long leash (15′ – 30′), enough length to keep him under control but allowing him to be completely distracted and “on his own”. While he’s not paying attention to you call his name then tell him to come.

Squat down and talk to him with encouragement in a high pitch and excited tone. Reel him in w/ the leash while you’re still telling him to come. Don’t allow him to get distracted w/ other scents Buy Acomplia along the way. When you say come he should make a bee line right to you.

As he gets close stand up and tell him sit when he’s infront of you completing the command. Give him treats, verbal praise, play or pets and scratches for reinforcement then repeat.

Try this in new areas to keep him sharp.

Good Luck
